Boys...

Another "male" card. :)
This weeks challenge over at Glitter n Sparkle
is "add some metal" ...

...so my metal, is the dragonfly on this card.
The image is called "Nolan" from Fred She Said.
(and it was pre-coloured!!! very handy for a quick card!)
The fence, toad, snail, worm and words were digi images I already had.
I cut the green "grass" and leafy stalk from a 6 x 6 dovecrafts paper sheet.
I think I got the metal charm - dragonfly - from Meiflower.

I'm so very late!!!

... with my challenge cards...these are for the challenge that is just ending!

Apologies...I have been extremely busy this week, mainly with comissions from
work colleagues, including cards and a "project" -
which turned out to be a 12 x 12  framed page.
Anyway - this weeks wonderful image is called "Purrfect together" from Doodle Garden.
I fell in love with it as soon as I saw it!
Wasn't quite sure at first how to make it into a card for a male / male colours,
but stuck with a black/white combo and thought it could work for a valentines / anniversary card.
The papers behind the image are from a dovecrafts stack, and
embossed with a wonderful hearts embossing folder, I bought whilst in Canada.
I coloured the image with my pack of 5 grey shaded promarkers.
(die is called precious hearts... my new and fave die at the mo.)

I used my dovecrafts brick embossing folder and chalked it with varying brown colours.
I coloured the image with promarkers and Mirage pens...
and added some "builders digi elements " that I have had forever, on my pc.
The sentiment is craftwork cards and the corners are photocorners I have also had forever!

Ooooh, a baby!

My friend had a baby boy last week...

... and I wanted to make them a special card.
I remembered this image, which I won from Di's Digi Downloads a little while ago,
that I hadn't got round to using yet.
I coloured it with my promarkers and added a strip of blue gingham paper
(always good for baby cards, I find!)
I printed out babies name, birth date, time and weight
and embossed a hearts background, with a new folder I bought,
whilst we were in Canada.(my fave folder at the mo!)
Precious hearts die-cuts ( my fave die at the mo!)
and a little gingham paper bow finished this 6 x 6 card.

Pink..kitty?

This week, over at Glitter n Sparkle, the theme is... "for a female"

I got this really cute image of a cat, called Fluffball Kitty Floral from Fitztown,
which I coloured with my derwent watercolour pencils.
I used a backing paper from My Minds Eye,
and the border, flowers, leaves and butterfly are all punched.

*Hugs!*

What a great image I got this week, from  Meljens -  A girl and her kitty.
This week, the challenge is to use or add a tag...

Quite a simple card, I handcut the shape of the card into a tag,
coloured the printed image with my promarkers,
and added a deep blue ribbon and a little tag, stamped
with one of the words from my new stamps, that I recently bought in Canada,
at the very wonderful Hobby Lobby.
